Tania Thune-Larsen has been a landscape and fine art photographer for over 20 years. She lives in Provence, France, and uses a digital camera and computer software to explore deeply emotive subjects. In her work, opaque histories lie beneath a ghostly surface. Sometimes the surface is scraped away, revealing layers of digital paint, like some ancient palimpsest traced with echoes of past images.
Tania Thune-Larsen took a degree in photography at the London College of Printing and English is her first language. She has had several exhibitions in galleries in Rome and around Provence.
